The goal of the Getting Older Happens website is to be topical and current.  All of the articles and essays, whether written by your host or by others, will be organized in 9 topical categories: Getting Older Happens, Stories, Envision But Don’t Accelerate, Home is Where?, Financial Management, Living with the Realities of Your Estate Planning, How You Leave is Just as Important as How You Lived, Leave Your Wisdom Not Just Your Wealth and What Do I Do Now?.  As you click on each topic tab you will find an introductory explanation for each topic category.  Hopefully the topic category title will entice you to look to see what it is all about.

Initially most, if not all, of the articles and essays in each topic category will be written by your host but over time I hope to find and/or have sent to me by you, the visitor to this site, additional articles and essays.  Over time this site should become a collaborative effort.  It is the only way it will stay fresh and pertinent to the needs and interest of its visitors.  The Contact Us section only has space for a 250 word submission.  If you have an article or essay that you have read or written that you would like to submit that is longer than 250 words please attach it to an e-mail and send it to me.  Or you can e-mail me a link to another website that has content that would be a valuable additional or referral.  My e-mail address is This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
